PLATFORM

As a Veteran my life has been dedicated to service and it has always been a top priority to work for others.  I come from a family that has been involved with public service for as long as I can remember.  We need to create more living wage jobs, champion economic growth for all, and  make public safety - especially getting guns off the streets, a top priority. With nearly a decade of government experience, I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate the complicated governmental agencies, and get things done.
LIST OF ISSUES
Community Safety

Community safety is the foundation of a thriving neighborhood. As your representative, Kelvin is committed to ensuring that our streets are safe, and our families can thrive without fear. Safety isn’t just about law enforcement—it's about trust, communication, and collaboration. That’s why Kelvin is focused on strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and our community.

Kelvin believes in building partnerships where officers are not just seen as enforcers of the law, but as active members of the community they serve. This means investing in community policing strategies that foster mutual respect and understanding. It also means ensuring that our law enforcement officers have the resources and training they need to address the challenges of modern policing—while always holding them accountable for their actions.

At the same time, Kelvin is committed to addressing the root causes of crime by investing in education, mental health services, and economic opportunities, so fewer people are pushed to the margins where crime can take hold.

Together, we can create a safer, more united community. Kelvin is committed to a future where law enforcement and residents work hand-in-hand to keep our district safe, secure, and supportive for everyone.

Economic Empowerment

Kelvin believes that economic empowerment begins with creating real opportunities for everyone in our community. This starts by expanding access to quality trade school programs and vocational training that equip individuals with the skills they need for good-paying, in-demand jobs. Not everyone needs a four-year degree to succeed, and we must ensure that trade schools and apprenticeships are viable, respected paths to success.

Kelvin is committed to strengthening partnerships with local businesses to ensure that our workers have the skills needed to meet industry demands, and that employers have access to a skilled, reliable workforce. He will work to improve job accessibility by reducing barriers to employment—whether through workforce development, transportation, or affordable childcare.

By prioritizing these opportunities, we can build a stronger, more resilient local economy where everyone has the tools to succeed, and no one is left behind.

Housing

Kelvin is committed to making affordable housing a priority in our community. He believes that everyone deserves access to safe, stable housing without being burdened by unaffordable rents. By working with developers, local governments, and community organizations, Kelvin aims to increase affordable housing options while also advocating for wage policies that ensure people can actually afford to live where they work. With a focus on sustainable growth and equitable solutions, Kelvin is determined to make housing accessible for all families in our district.

Healthcare

Kelvin is committed to improving healthcare access and outcomes for every resident in our district. By strengthening partnerships with local hospitals like Erlanger, Memorial, and Parkridge, we can ensure that quality healthcare services are readily available and tailored to the needs of our community. Kelvin will work to enhance coordination between these healthcare providers to improve patient care, reduce wait times, and ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to receiving the care they need. Whether it's expanding emergency services, increasing mental health resources, or improving access to preventative care, Kelvin believes that a strong, collaborative healthcare network is essential to the well-being of our families and the future of our district.
